The machine is of typo which in many respects resembles the well-known Bleriot, but has a triangular chassis and larger tail....'[1]

1912 'On Whit-Monday Mr Gordon Armstrong, of the East Riding Garage, Beverley, won the Scarborough speed trials with one of his 8 h.p. Gordon cars; also on Wednesday, May 29th, he won the Scarborough flexibility hill climb with an 8 h.p. Gordon. On May 11th he was fourth in the Scarborough reliability trials, losing marks for a puncture, otherwise a non-stop run of 90 miles.'[3]
