1911 'The death is announced from Paris, at the age of 79 of Mr. Felix William Spiers, one of the founders of the firm of Spiers and Pond, and for many years chairman of Spiers and Pond, Ltd. He resigned the chairmanship in 1905, and had since lived in retirement.'[1]
