1856 Born in Canonbury, Middx., son of Alfred Pegler, merchant who later became an india rubber manufacturer

1881 India rubber manufacturer, living in East Retford with his parents Alfred Pegler 60, an india rubber manufacturer employing 61 men. 11 boys, 13 women, with Elizabeth Pegler 57, Josephine Pegler 28, Stephen F. Pegler 27, india rubber manufacturer, Francis Pegler 25[1]. The family business was Northern Rubber Co.

1889 Married Eleanor Agnes Darbyshire in Wandsworth[2]

1891 India Rubber manufacturer, employer, living in East Retford with Eleanor A Pegler 28 and Francis Pegler 3 months[3]

1895 Started an agency for the rubber business in Glasgow

Inherited the Northern Rubber Co; he was keen to expand the business. His Glasgow agent wanted to expand into other products for the marine industry; the expansion was supported by Frank and his brother Stephen, forming Pegler Brothers and Co

1900 Met Fred Birchall who had experience as a brass founder. Frank agreed to put up the money for Fred to start a new operation to supply his merchandising company. The new business became part of Pegler Brothers and Co

1901 India rubber/waterproof manufacturer, employer, living in East Retford with Eleanor A Pegler 35, Dora E Pegler 8, Phyllis E Pegler 5, Beatrice E Pegler 2[4]

1904 Death of his mother, Elizabeth Selina Pegler[5]

1910 Chairman of Grimsby Rubber Co when the company was put into voluntary liquidation[6]

1911 Rubber manufacturer, living in East Retford, with Eleanor Agnes Pegler 45, Francis Egerton Pegler 20, also a rubber manufacturer[7]

1935 Both Frank Pegler and Francis Egerton Pegler were shown as rubber manufacturers on the flotation of Peglers Ltd

1938 Died in Nice, France[8]
