FRAZER-NASH MILLE MIGLIA

The refined appearance of the Frazer-Nash Mille Miglia sports car is deceptive, for its construction and performance are on a par with those of the more robust-looking and business-like Le Mans Replica.

In the photograph T. A. S. 0. Mathieson is seen at dawn on the Le Mans circuit during the 24-hour race of 1950. Sharing the driving with Flight Lieutenant R. Stoop, R.A.F , he won the 2-Litre Class and covered an actual distance of 1,972.2 miles at an average speed of more than 82 m.p.h.

As will be seen from the accompanying specification, the Mille Miglia is a development of the Le Mans Replica, but having greater width and length in order to provide luggage capacity, thus making it attractive as a sports tourer.
