1861 Business founded when the brewery was purchased from the executors of Mr John Heathorn

1863 Purchased a small brewery from Messrs Baldwin, Holmes and Style

1872 New brewery built in Maidstone

1920 Fremlin Brothers was converted into a private limited company

1926 Associated with Alfred Leney and Co of Dover and Flint and Co of Canterbury whose properties were leased to Fremlin Brothers.

1928 Fremlins Ltd was incorporated as a public company to acquire Fremlin Brothers of Maidstone[1]

1960 Fremlins acquired Frederick Leney and Sons.[2]
