1967 GEC acquired AEI. AEI's project engineering resources were combined with GEC's Plant Coordination division to form GEC-AEI Projects Ltd[1]

1968 Delivered control system for a mill for Dorman Long and equipment for some Steel Company of Wales' mills.

1968 Became part of GEC-Elliott Automation[2]
