GEC Large Machines Ltd. was a subsidiary of GEC (1982). Presumably this company was a successor to GEC Machines
of Rugby
1979 Extension to the existing gas furnace capacity became necessary.
1982 Company installed electric stress relieving furnaces.[1]
1989 Became GEC Alsthom Large Machines Ltd
1997 Became GEC Alsthom Electrical Machines Ltd of Rugby, a dormant company.
1998 Became Alstom Electrical Machines Ltd, an agent for the parent Alstom
