1954 Controlled 220 shops, a large bakery in Govan and a preserve and sausage factory in the West of Scotland. Acquired by Home and Colonial Stores[2]

Then owned by Allied Suppliers

1961 J. Lyons and Co acquired the Govan bakery[3]

1982 Part of Argyll Foods. Trading name for 103 smaller Scottish stores mainly in the Glasgow area.[4]
