Established in the reign of George III by Joseph Ibberson, Master Cutler of the Company of Cutlers of Hallamshire.

Succeeded by George Ibberson (d.)

1980 British Syphon Industries sold its cutlery manufacturing subsidiary, George Ibberson, to MAB Products a private firm of scissor manufacturers in Sheffield[2]
