'...the Partnership lately subsisting between us John Jackson the elder, John Jackson the younger, and Edward Elliot Jackson, of No. 49, Rathbone-place, in the parish of Saint Marylebone, in the county of Middlesex, Composition and Papier Marchie and Carton Pierre Manufacturers, heretofore carrying on trade under the firm of George Jackson and Sons, was, as from the 1st day of January, 1868, dissolved by mutual consent so far as respects the said John Jackson the elder, who retires from the said partnership, and that all debts owing to the said partnership are to be received by the said John Jackson the younger and Edward Elliott Jackson...'[1]

'...the business of Composition Plaster, Papier Mache, and Carton Pierre Manufacturers, heretofore carried on at No. 49, Rathbone-place, Oxford-street, in the county of London, by us the undersigned, Edward Elliot Jackson, Edward Francis Jackson, and Elliot George Jackson, under the style or firm of "George Jackson and Sons," has, for family reasons, been converted into a private Company, under the style of "G. Jackson and Sons Limited," and in future the business will be carried on at the address aforesaid by G. Jackson and Sons Limited. All debts due to and owing by the said firm of George Jackson and Sons will be received and paid by G. Jackson and Sons Limited...'[2]
