1827 Born at Tunbridge Wells

1901 Died. 'The death of Mr George Owen, took place at his residence, Park Issa, Oswestry, on Sunday evening. Mr Owen has for more than generation been one of the most familiar, and the same time one of the most welcome, figures all along the Cambrian Railways, with which be was associated throughout his active life.'[1]
