1940 Became general manager of the company

Post-WWII became assistant managing director, responsible for planning production of the Bristol Freighter and adaptation of a production factory to make pre-fabricated houses using scrap aluminium.

Managing director of Bristol Car Co on its formation and subsequently owner.

1969 Retired after a serious road accident

1983 Died
