c.1801 Born, son of John Woodhouse, brother of Thomas Jackson Woodhouse

Worked with his brother on the Dublin and Kingstown Railway

1839 Birth of son Thomas Walter Woodhouse

Acted as agent for William Mackenzie and Thomas Brassey

Worked on Messrs. Brassey's railway contracts in France and Russia.

1868 Died at his residence in Addison Crescent, Kensington, in his 67th year, one of the oldest civil engineers.
