1906 The Globe Gas Engine Company Limited was incorporated, with capital of £30,000, to acquire and carry on the engineering works of Pollock, Whyte and Waddel, Globe Gas Engine Works, Johnstone.[1]

1908 The company was forced into liquidation.[2]
