1879 Incorporated. From the Great Northern Railway at Huntingdon to the Great Northern Railway at Doncaster. length 123 miles. Took over the Great Eastern Railway from St. Ives to March; the lines of the Great Northern Railway from March to Spalding; built a new line from Spalding to Lincoln; took over the Great Northern Railway lines from Lincoln to Doncaster.
1896 Purchased the Ramsey and Somersham Junction Railway
