1851 The founder of the firm started work with refrigeration - presumably this refers to one of the Siebe Brothers.

1867 Company established - presumably Siebe and West

1876 Henry Joseph West left the successor company of West and Du Vallon and presumably set up on his own.

1894 Brewer’s Exhibition. Refrigeration equipment for brewers.

1896 Ernest West became managing director on the retirement of his father Henry Joseph West.

1919 of 72-74, Gray's Inn-road, London, WC1, supplier of the Whalley mixer for making tar-macadam or concrete.

1927 Liverpool Refrigeration Co took control of Messrs. H. J. West and Company, of Saxilby.
