1941 November 25th sunk in the Mediterranean with the loss of about 800 officers and crew, including the Captain G. C. Cooke R.N. The Barnham was the flagship of Vice-Admiral H. G. Pridham-Wippell the Second-In-Command of the Mediterranean Fleet.. [1]
