1862 Patent. '3223. And Edward Barnard Sampson, of Ham Mills, Stroud, in the county of Gloucester, has given the like notice in respect of the invention of "improvements in apparatus for drying wool and other fibres and substances."'[2]

1873 Patent. '3463. And William Jenkinson, of the Ham Mills, Stroud, in the county of Gloucester, has given the like notice in respect of the invention of "improvements in machinery for spinning fibrous materials."'[3]

1879 Ritchie and Co, Ham Mill, Stroud.[4]

1909 T. B. Worth and Sons, Ham Mills, Stroud.[5]

2000 Still used for the manufacture of carpets.
