1906 Died. 'Mr Henry Shaw MacPherson, a Director of the North British Railway and Young's Paraffin Oil Company, died his residence, Park Gate, Glasgow, yesterday. Mr MacPherson, who was 79 years of age, some time ago retired from the firm of H. S. MacPherson and Co yarn agents, Glasgow, Bradford, and Leicester He was an ex-Magistrate of Glasgow and a Justice of the Peace. He leaves a widow and family.'[1]

1906 Obituary. 'The death is announced of Mr. Henry S. MacPherson, a director of the North British Railway, at his Glasgow residence, Parkgate, at the age of seventy-nine.'[2]
