1967 Anderson Mavor proposed to acquire Higgins Boughton Industries and its principal subsidiary Mining Engineering Co (Meco) of Worcester[1] (but is not clear this deal was completed).

1968 Dowty acquired Higgins Boughton Industries and its principal subsidiary Mining Engineering Co (Meco) of Worcester[2].

1976 Liquidators appointed[3]
