2020. Brewery in Stanhope Street, built for Robert Cain. Taken over by Daniel Higson Ltd as Higson's Brewery. Became the Robert Cain Brewery again, but now closed

1923 Moved to the former Cain's brewery.

1937 Incorporated as a limited company to acquire:

1962 Renamed Higsons Brewery Ltd

1981 re-registered as Higsons Brewery PLC

1990 Ceased brewing.
