1923 Dissolution of the partnership between Samuel James Hitchen, of 263, Chapel House-road, Nelson, in the county of Lancaster, Commercial Traveller, Irving Lincoln Smith, of 131, Napier-street, Nelson, aforesaid, Motor Engineer, James Thomas Smith, of 11, Duerden-street, Nelson, aforesaid, Dental Mechanic, and Daniel Whittaker, of 271, Chapel House-road, Nelson, aforesaid, Cotton Weaver, carrying on business as Wholesale Confectioners at the Springbank Confectionery Works, Manchester-road, Nelson, aforesaid, under the style or firm of " HITCHEN, SMITH AND COMPANY." All debts due to and owing by the said late firm will be received and paid by the said Samuel James Hitchen, Irving Lincoln Smith, and James Thomas Smith, by whom the said business will in future be carried on.[1]
