Imperial Autocar Manufacturing Co


Imperial Autocar Manufacturing Company of Erskine Street, Hulme, Manchester.
1900 Company formed to acquire the business of H. M. Addey and that of W. Turner, both of Manchester.[1]
Two cars were introduced in 1901 with either a 3.5hp 2 cylinder engine under the seat or 6hp 2 cylinder engine front mounted.
1901 July. Details of the 3.5-hp voiturette.[2]
1901 August. Details of the 6-hp car.[3]
1903 Company wound up. H. M. Addey is Chairman.[4]
Later the company sold French Lacoste et Battmann models with Imperial bodies. The last ones seem to have been sold around 1906.
