2004 Michael Carey bought the Fruitfield business from Nestle and merged it with W. and R. Jacob, the biscuit business owned by Danone in Ireland[1], maker of Jacob's Fig Rolls and Jacob's Cream Crackers.
2005 Added the Real Irish Food Co
The Boland's Bakery name survives today in a number of brands produced by Jacob Fruitfield Food Group, such as Custard Creams, Cream crackers and Bourbon creams.[2]
