1826 Deaths: 'On Saturday last, aged 69 years, Mr. James Rathbone, ship-builder, St. James's-street. In him were united the kind husband, the affectionate parent, and the truly honest man.'[1]

1831 Advert: 'ON SALE by PRIVATE CONTRACT, The Steam-Packet SATELLITE, of about l00 tons, carpenter's measurement , built in the year 1825, by Mr. James Rathbone, and is fitted with a single Engine of 23 horses power, by Messrs. Fawcett and Prestons. For further particulars apply at the office of his Majesty's War-office Steam-packets, 21, Water-street. JOHN WATSON, Agent.'[2]

1848 Died - 17th August 'of bronchitis, JAMES RATHBONE, shipwright much respected by his family and friends.'[3]. Related?
