1881 Living at Kennford: John Eddy (age 34 born Kennford), Machinist. With his wife Ann Eddy (age 30 born Dunsford) and their two daughters Mary Eddy (age 4 born Kenn) and Elizabeth W. Eddy (age e born Kenn). Also a cousin Anna Seward (age 18 born Dunsford), Unmarried. In next abode is John Eddy.[1]

1911 Living at Kennford Iron Works near Exeter: John Eddy(age 62 born Kennford), Implement Maker, Blacksmith - Employer. With his wife Anna Seward Eddy (age 58 born Kennford) and their three children; Mary Eddy (age 32 born Kennford), House Keeper; Anna Wills Eddy (age 25 born Kennford), School Teacher; and John Eddy Junr. (age 20 born Kennford), Implement Maker. Also a boarder.[2]

1912 August 21st. Died. 'Kennford, John Eddy, the beloved husband A. S. Eddy. Funeral tomorrow (Saturday) at 2. Kenn'.[3]

1925 December 12th. Death of his wife Anna Seward Eddy, widow.
