John Hezekiah Jackson (1831-1898), paper maker and of Jackson and Smith
1831 July 17th. Born the son of Hezekiah Jackson, broker, and his wife Sarah Buckee.
1836 His father dies when he is c.5 years old

1861 Living at 251 Blackfriars Road, Christchurch, Surrey: John Hezekiah Jackson (age 29 born Clerkenwell), Stationer and Rag Merchant employing 6 men and 1 boy and 2 women. With his wife Eliza Jackson (age 29 born Christchurch) and their four children; Mary Jackson (age 4 born Christchurch); Frederick Jackson (age 2 born Christchurch); Susan Jackson (age 1 born Christchurch); and Harold Jackson (age 6 months born Christchurch). Also his sisters-in-law Susan Smith (age 35 born Christchurch) and Mary Smith (age 31 born Christchurch) and his brother-in-law Noel Smith (age 11 born Christchurch). Two servants.[3]

THE Premises in Holland-street and Black friars road having been purchased by the Dover and Chatham Railway Company for their Metropolitan extensions, J. H. Jackson (age 8 born Surrey); and Eliza M. Jackson (age 6 born Surrey). Also his sister-in-law Eliza Muram (age 41 born Surrey), Seamstress; (?) Jackson (age 25 born London). Also his grand-son Frederick H. Jackson (age 4 born London) and nephew Eric H. Smith (age 10 born Essex). One servant.[10]
1898 January 28th. Died. Of Wharton House, Eghams Green, Wooburn, Bucks. Probate to Eliza Jackson, widow, and Mary Jackson, spinster.
