John Wildsmith Snarry (1889-1934)

John Wildsmith Snarry was born in 1889, and commenced his technical career in the office of a Patent Agent at Hull.
He then occupied positions as Draughtsman successively with Keith and Blackman, Ltd., Weigel Motors, Ltd., International Correspondence Schools, Ltd., and Wolseley Motors, Ltd.
His next position was as Leading Draughtsman with E. G. Wrigley and Co., Ltd., and from there he went to Wolseley Motors, Ltd. in a similar capacity.
In 1917 he was appointed Chief Draughtsman with the Gear Grinding Co., Ltd., of Birmingham.
He died on 18th April, 1934, at the age of 44.
He was elected an Associate Member of the Institution in 1920.
