1937 Died. We regret to have to announce the death of Mr. John William Geddes which occurred at his home at New Maiden on November 29th. Mr. Geddes acted for a number of years as technical director to Westool, Ltd., and in that capacity developed many of the company's specialities. He was associated in his early days with Armstrong, Whitworth and Co., Ltd., and Platt Brothers, of Oldham, and his death will be regretted by a large circle of friends in all parts of the country, who appreciated both his scientific attainments and his attractive personality.'
