1957 Manufacturer of Westool Solenoid actuators and Warner Electric brakes and clutches[1]. Supplied control systems for the Dounreay Fast Breeder Reactor[2]
Warner Electric Brake and Clutch owned 34.6 percent of the company
1970 Endura Electrical Industries acquired a controlling interest in Westool[3]
1970 Part owner Westforth Electrical and Automation would compensate holders of the shares in Westool for a shortfall in profits against projection; the other half of the shares were held by Warner Electric of USA[4]
1978 Westool Ltd renamed as Warner Electric Ltd
