On Saturday at the Langham Hotel, London, Mr. Joseph Beaumont Pease, of Middlesbrough, died after a very brief illness.

The deceased gentleman was managing partner in the firm of Gilkes, Wilson, Pease, and Co., blast furnace owners, Middlesbrough. He was also a partner in Lloyd and Co.'s Linthorpe Iron Works, Middlesbrough, one of the owners of the Bearpark Colliery, and a partner in the West Cumberland Iron Works.

He was buried to-day (Wednesday) at Middlesbrough. All the Ironmasters of the district were represented at the funeral.
