Joseph Wilkinson (1759-1848) of Wilkinson and Son

Apprenticed to Henry Nock, gun maker and maker of many other armaments.

1792 Married at City of London to Ann Jones, the adopted daughter of Henry Nock.

1804 On the death of Henry Nock, Wilkinson took over the business.

1818 The company eventually became Wilkinson and Son when he took his son Henry into partnership.

1849 James Wilkinson died[1]

1861 Henry Wilkinson died; the firm became The Wilkinson Sword Co.
