Gun makers to his Majesty, Inventors of the ELASTIC CONCAVE WADDING, &c. most respectfully inform the Nobility and Gentry, that in order to meet the wishes of their extensive connection, they have opened a Manufactory at 27, Pall-Mall, and, after numerous experiments, brought to perfection, a CARTRIDGE, which has never been equalled, combining Powder and Shot, consequently all danger is avoided, and the loading can be effected in one third of the usual time. Several other considerable improvements have recently been invented by them, and a Second Edition of their "Short Treatise on the Elastic Concave Wadding," is just published. 27, Pall-Mall and 12, Ludgate-hill.'[1]
