Kilsyth and Bonnybridge Railway

An 8.5 mile line from the Kelvin Valley Railway to the Caledonian Railway at Bonneybridge. It opened in 1886 and was closed in 1935. [1]

1882 The company was incorporated to build a line from the Kelvin Valley to Danny Branch of the Caledonian

1889 Engineer is Formans and McCall.[2]

1908 The line is about 8.5 miles in length and is worked by the Caledonian Railway and North British Railway companies. [3]

1923 Became part of London and North Eastern Railway and London, Midland and Scottish Railway. [4]
