1926 Acquired J. and W. B. Smith
1930 ICI which had a controlling interest in the company, purchased the remaining shares for cash[2].
1937 Listed Exhibitor - British Industries Fair. Incandescent Mantles, Gas Burners for domestic and street lighting work. Gas Fires, including the "Handiheater" fitted with patent block fuel, without gas or air control. "Kernscreen" Models. Modern Gas Fittings. (Stand No. Ca.604).[3]
