1870 The company was incorporated.

1893 Sir Frederick Bramwell assessed the value of the tramways constructed under the powers of the London Street Tramways Company's Acts, 1870, in particular 4 miles 27 chains 17 yards of lines.[1]

1895 The company had accepted the terms offered by the London County Council to lease 4.5 miles of lines acquired by the Council[2]

1897 The company underwent a complete reconstruction in its constitution. The tramway was sold to the London County Council, and the horses and cars to the North Metropolitan Tramways Co. [3]
