1862 This joint stock bank was established in Finch Lane, London. It acquired deposits and staff from Unity Joint Stock Mutual Banking Association which was wound up in 1862.

By 1863 the bank had two West End branches and a Woolwich branch.

1863 Acquired by the London and Westminster Bank.
