1885 The company was registered on April 24th, to construct a railway under the Tramways (Ireland) Acts, 1860-83.

1890 The line, 9 miles in length, was opened for traffic on December 1st. It is to be worked for 50 years by the Midland Great Western Railway of Ireland. [1]

1925 Absorbed into the Great Southern Railways
