1954 Bio Note [1]

Dr. Nassif graduated at Fouad University, Cairo, in 1948. He served an apprenticeship in the Egyptian State Railway works at Abou-Zaabal and the Diesel Locomotive works at Boulac.

As a scholar of the Egyptian government he left for England in 1950, and in 1952 was awarded the degree of Ph.D. at the University of Birmingham. After returning to Egypt he worked as technical assistant director for the Diesel Section of the Egyptian State Railways and in 1953 was appointed a lecturer in Mechanical Engineering at Ibrahim University, Cairo.
