1881 Partnership change. '...the Partnership heretofore subsisting between us the undersigned, Thomas Henry Mallett, Robert Porter, and Thomas Dowd, carrying n business under the style or firm of Mallett, Porter, and Dowd, at Caledonian-road, Islington, in the county of Middlesex, has been dissolved, by mutual consent, so far as relates to the said Thomas Henry Mallett; and that the said business will in future be carried on by the remaining partners alone, on their own account...'[1]

1885 Partnership change. '...the Partnership subsisting between us the undersigned, Robert Porter, Thomas Dowd, and William Alfred Ball, carrying on business as Wholesale Rag Merchants, Government Contractors, and Fancy Goods Warehousemen, at 465, Caledonian-road, in the county of Middlesex, and 122, Wood-street, in the city of London, under the style or firm of Mallett, Porter, and Dowd, is dissolved as on the 12th day of July, 1885. All moneys due and owing to or by the said late firm will be received and paid by the said Robert Porter and Thomas Dowd at the addresses aforesaid, where the said businesses will in future be carried on by them on their own account under the style of Mallett, Porter, and Dowd...'[2]
