1862 January 01st. Born the son of Trevor Henry Shum, Army Major born in East Indies.

1901 Residing at Shortwood, Nailsworth: Trevor Shum (age 39 born Hanham, Glos.), Bedding Manufacturer. With his Jeanie M. Shum, two sons and two daughters.[1]

1911 Residing at Nailsworth Hill, Minchinhampton: Trevor Henry Shum (age 49 born Hanham, Glos.), Managing Director Flock Kills. With his wife Jeanie Maude and sons John Trevor Lancelot Thum (age 21) and Harry Leslie Thum (age 19) and two daughters.[2]

1939 Residing at 41 Osborne Road, West Ham, Buyer in Paper Trade. With Nellie B. Shum (b.1886).[3]
