1891 Visitor at 12 Rothesay Terrace, Coventry: Mauritz Schulte (age 32 born Germany - naturalised subject), Bicycle Maker and Employer. In the house of Marks Baum (age 62 born Germany - British Subject), Watchmaker, and his family. Also visiting was Siegfried Bettmann (age 27 born Bavaria), Bicycle Maker and Employer. One servant.[1]
1911 Living at Hillerest, Kenilworth. Moritz Schulte (age 53 born Germany, Naturalised in 1890), Cycle (and motorcycles) Manufacture and Employer. With his wife (married 16 years with three children) Martha (age 44 born Germany) and their children Ida (age 12 born Coventry) and Muriel (age 11 born Coventry). Also a visitor from Germany and three servants. [2]
1919 Mauritz Schulte left Triumph after conflicting opinions with Siegfried Bettmann, with a 'Golden Handshake' of £15,000. Schulte believed that Triumph should concentrate on car production, Bettmann strongly disagreed.
1933 Q4. Died.
