1900 May-Oatway Syndicate produced an automatic fire annunciator to warn of outbreak of fire.[1]

George Henry Oatway and Charles Edward May took out various patents concerned with fire alarms and sprinlkers.

1907 The company was registered on 28 August, to acquire certain patent rights of a company of the same title. [2]

1911 Pearson Fire Alarm amalgamated with the May Oatway Fire Alarm Co to form Associated Fire Alarms Ltd, a public company[3].
