1896 The Syndicate would be wound up voluntarily; the four existing Directors, viz., Noel Francis Nalder, John Alexander McMullen, John George Maxwell Hilton, and Kenric James McMullen were appointed Liquidators. Noel Francis Nalder and John George Maxwell Hilton offered to purchase the electrical department, and John Alexander McMullen and Kenric James McMullen offered to purchase the general engineering department, together with the leasehold property owned by the Syndicate[1]

1896 The Nalder and Harrison Syndicate acquired the goodwill, patents, of Swinburne and Co[2]
