c.1912 A new company seems to have been established by N. T. Downs as New Imperial Cycles Ltd in Princip St., Birmingham (see advert) making cars and motor cycles, presumably as a subsidiary of New Imperial Motors
1925 New Imperial Cycles was still advertising its products
c.1933 New Imperial Motors (1927) Ltd established a subsidiary company to manufacture pedal cycles; by the end of the 33/34 reporting period it was making a small profit[1]
1939 New Imperial Motors was wound up.
