1882 Mill advertised for sale. 20,500 weft spindles, 17,000 throstle spindles, all by Platt Brothers. Preparation machinery by John Mason. 810 weaving looms. Weaving preparation machinery by Howard and Bullough. One compound engine by B. Hick, and one by Martin and Smethurst. Two boilers by W. and J. Galloway and Sons, two Crossland boilers. Condenser cooling water from River Darwen. Boiler feed water from Bold Venture Reservoir.[1]
