1857 The company was established.

The large flour and rice mill was built on the site of the North Shore Cotton Mill, Liverpool following its destruction by fire in 1853.

1897 The name was changed from the Liverpool North Shore Flour and Rice Mill Co to the present title. [1]

Location: The mill was located alongside the Leeds and Liverpool Canal, immediately north east of the Boundary Bridge, Liverpool. See 1890/1893 map here.
