Obelisk Bridge, Townleyhall, Louth

From Graces Guide

Single-span iron lattice girder road bridge on limestone piers, over the River Boyne.

Constructed in 1868. It was designed by Messrs A. Tate and the county surveyors for Meath and Louth, Samuel Searanke and John Neville. The girders were transported up river from the works of Thomas Grendon and Co in Drogheda.[1]
