1890 December 05th. Born the son of John James Sainsbury and his wife Mary Ann

1911 Residing at Bishopsfield, 12 Broadlands Road, Highgate: John James Sainsbury (age 66 born Kennington Oval), Provision Merchant. With his wife Mary Ann, and three children; Elsie Janis (age 25), Dorothy Maud (age 21), and Paul James Sainsbury (age 20), an Architect.[1]

1920 Married at Kensington Constance Helen Tilley and had three children

1921 Joined the family firm of Sainsbury's

1939 Residing at Moorings, Beaulieu Road, Bexhill, Director Furnishing Trade Retail. With Constance H. (born 1890) and Patricia M. (born 1921).[2]

1982 October 27th. Died at Midhurst.
