1851 Phillip Phillips , General factor, living in Great Colmore St., Birmingam with Frances Phillips 53, Amelia Phillips 18, Montague Phillips 16, John Phillips 14, Albert Phillips 9[1]

1860 William Pursall left the partnership of Pursall, Phillips and Son; presumably Philip and his son John continued in business as metallic bedstead manufacturers.

1861 Metallic bedstead manufacturer, living in Edgbaston with Frances Phillips 61, John Phillips 24, also bedstead manufacturer, Albert Phillips 19, match maker, Amelia Phillips 27[2]

1873 Metallic bedstead manufacturer, died in Edgbaston; one of his executors was his brother Jacob[3]
